I’m a cartoonist by day and a sleep by night. Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, my childhood dream of becoming a cartoonist began in grade school when I discovered I wasn’t good at anything else. I drew a comic for my school newspaper, was voted “most artistic” in high school, received a B.S. degree in animation and have survived as a freelance artist for over two decades. Throughout those hungry years clients have commissioned me to design their logos, draft their posters, illustrate their children’s books, paint their murals, caricaturize their faces, and draw their pets. For the past five years I’ve has focused my career on sequential illustration, transcribing the written work of authors into comics. I’m now creating more of my own comic strips for people to laugh at. I can be found most days siting silently in my studio, making things up.
