As a child, I spent a lot of my time in the school library hiding from other kids and looking at picture books. In my home there was never a lack of newspaper comic strips and art anthology books to get lost in. It didn’t take long before I was making up my own characters and comics.
I love to make people smile. That is what has motivated me to keep making art throughout all of these years.
I draw inspiration from the things I see on my day to day and the people that I love. Living in a big city like Mexico City, I can always find interesting and new things to inspire me.
I’ve been working as a freelance illustrator for over ten years now. My work has focused mainly on creating artwork for children’s and young adult publications.
Some of my clients include: Editorial Norma, Edebé, Edelvives, Editorial Santillana, Macmillan Education, Cambridge University Press, Capplen Damm, Stone Arch Books Editorial Televisa and Editorial Notmusa.
