Karl Christian Krumpholz
An oddly displaced East Coaster, KCK is the writer/artist exploring life in the city in his weekly comics 30 Miles of Crazy and The Denver Bootleg (for the Westword newspaper), as well as other comical tragedies and drunken accounts. His work has appeared in VICE Magazine, Birdy, Suspect Press, Modern Drunkard Magazine, and the documentary Neal Cassady’s Denver Years. He’s also always looking for a better cocktail. http://karlchristiankrumpholz.com/
Location: Denver, CO
Genre / Style: I started out doing bio and horror comics. Over the last few years, I have been doing more bio/non-fiction/history stories in my weekly ’30 Miles of Crazy!’ comic and then more straight up history in my weekly ‘Denver Bootleg’ strip for the Denver Westword.
