Dan Moran is a self-taught artist who has been drawing since before he could read or write. He specializes in B&W drawings, primarily with Bic ballpoint pen. He draws in a realistic style, but his subjects tend toward horror, surrealism, symbolism, and fantasy. His work has been featured in a number of gallery shows, some gift shops, and in numerous magazines both in print and online. Dan is old school and just works with pen and paper, using computers only to scan in finished images (never to create or modify his work). To pay the bills, Dan works as an editor of scientific and medical journals. Dan has an M.A. in Philosophy and Religion, and is interested in history, fitness, chess, fencing, skiing, sailing, wine, and spending time with his lovely wife.
